Our story
Tucked into the hills above Casares, in the heart of Andalucía, La Fuente de Casares is a countryside estate with a story rooted in water.
In Spanish, la fuente means the fountain, the spring, or the source — the place where water rises from the earth. For centuries, fountains have been at the heart of Andalusian life: places where people gathered, paused, shared stories and found refreshment. That spirit continues to shape this place today.
Surrounded by mature gardens, natural spring water, mountain views and the quiet rhythm of the countryside, La Fuente is being thoughtfully restored as a place to slow down. Not a hotel, but a home. A place to reconnect — with nature, with others, and perhaps most importantly, with yourself.
Our restoration honours both the heritage of the estate and the landscape that has sustained it for generations. As the gardens flourish, the fountains flow and each corner is brought back to life, we're sharing the journey as it unfolds — the changing seasons, the beauty in the everyday, and the timeless character of authentic Andalusian living.
