The role

A friendly, capable presence around the property.

We're looking for a kind, energetic person or couple to join us this September at La Fuente de Casares — a hidden country estate in the hills of southern Spain, now finding its rhythm as a boutique wellness retreat.

Think fruit-filled orchards, gardens that flower year-round, a natural spring feeding our traditional Andalusian alberca, and views made for slowing down. With the restoration behind us, this role is about helping the estate run smoothly day to day:

  • Welcoming and checking in guests
  • General grounds and garden maintenance
  • Keeping the pool and outdoor spaces guest-ready
  • Generally being a friendly, capable presence around the property

Experience with gardening or horticulture, retreats, social media, or as a yoga teacher would all be a big bonus — but a good attitude and reliability matter most.

In return

Your own room, and time to explore.

  • Your own private room in the cottage, with shared bathroom
  • Around 4 hours of help a day, 5 days a week
  • Starlink wifi throughout
  • Plenty of free time to explore Andalucía's beaches and white villages
