As someone who hosts retreats on the Costa del Sol, I've spent a lot of time searching for venues that offer something truly special. The moment I arrived at La Fuente, I knew I'd found it. What stood out was the incredible greenery — surrounded by mature trees, birdsong and beautiful gardens, the estate feels like a private oasis.
Rebecca has created something truly unique. I left feeling inspired and excited, and I couldn't recommend La Fuente more highly.
With a Lidl and El Jamón just 10 minutes away, we cooked together most evenings, which became one of the highlights of the trip. The villa is much more spacious than the photos suggest — the four bedrooms each have adjoining lounge areas, plus extra sofa beds, so it never felt crowded.
Ideal for both groups of friends and large families. Could not recommend enough. Rebecca is a perfect host.
We are a family of eight and it was one of those places where everyone kept saying "wow, this is gorgeous" as soon as we arrived. The gardens are honestly amazing — so green and peaceful, full of little spots to sit and relax. It feels like you've found a hidden oasis.
The perfect mix of being close to everything but feeling completely away from it all. We'd book again in a heartbeat.
The little beaches and coves at Casares Costa were beautiful, and the long sandy beach at Sabinillas became a favourite too — both only about 10 minutes away. We had a brilliant day in Marbella, and one of our group slipped off for a game of golf near Sotogrande.
We made fantastic memories here and were genuinely sad to leave.
